New Tourism & Attractions Show
The free entry event will showcase more than 50 tourism destinations, attractions, tour operators, event venues and accommodation providers all displaying their group offer and providing visitors with new and inspiring ideas for day trips and short breaks.
It will be a great opportunity for group travel, event organisers and members of the travel trade to discuss their requirements face-to-face and pick up new and exciting ideas for itineraries and venues in the region.
Coach operators are also being encouraged to bring their key clients to visit the show who will receive fast track entry and enjoy a VIP Welcome.
Amongst the many exhibitors who have booked space to date are Akkeron Hotels, Compton Verney House Trust, Daish’s Holidays, Fred Olsen Cruise Line, Rockingham Castle, Shropshire and Trafford Councils, the National Brewery Centre and the West Midland Safari Park.
After attending the show, visitors will be able to explore the attraction where they can view one of the most interesting ceramic collections in the world and discover more about Josiah Wedgwood and the company he founded around 250 years ago. They will also be able to see and talk to the artisans at work; some of the processes they use remain unchanged since the days of Josiah Wedgwood.
Easy to reach by road, the Wedgwood attraction is just 10 minutes from junction 15 of the M6 and there’s ample free parking on-site. The railway station at Stoke-on-Trent is a 15-minute drive and at Stafford 25 minutes; with the Trent and Mersey Canal a mere three-minute walk it’s also possible to arrive by boat.
Visitor registration is now open and the remaining stands can be booked online for the Tourism & Attractions Show 2013. It is designed as an affordable table-top event for exhibitors with no shell scheme or costly extras; there will also be free wi-fi on site.
